Frequently Asked Questions About Chemical Peels
- What exactly is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is a procedure in which we apply a chemical solution to your areas of concern. The chemical solution improves and smooths the texture of your
skin by removing its’ damaged outer layers.
- Which chemicals do you use for your peels?
Examples of the chemicals we use for for peels include, but are not limited to, glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, mandelic acid. These are also known as alpha hydroxy acids and are the lightest peels. Generally, alphahydroxy acid peels do not require significant downtime. They can be used to treat fine wrinkling, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation, acne and more. For deeper peels, we use trichloroacetic acid, commonly known as the TCA peel, and other stronger chemical solutions.
- How much do chemical peels cost?
Our price for chemical peels start at $95*.
