About Our Staff

Sheryl New, PA-C

Sheryl has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Anderson University, a Master of Arts in Biology from Ball State University, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the Medical College of Ohio. She is a certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants.

Physician assistants, or PAs, are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, suture lacerations, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, and assist in surgery. Within the physician-PA relationship, physician assistants can work independently from the physician in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Sheryl will be working closely as a complement to Dr. Turkle by seeing post operative patients, making hospital rounds, and assisting in surgery. She will make our office more efficient due to her wide range of abilities.

Additionally, Sheryl will provide services for our aesthetics patients. She has been trained in Thermage, injecting Botox and facial fillers, and other non-surgical rejuvenation services.
