Phases by Turkle & Associates is excited to be among the first practices in the nation to offer Vibradermabrasion, a new technique for removing dead skin and rebuilding collagen. Additionally, we will use Vibradermabrasion to enhance the performance of our other skin care treatments by increasing penetration of therapeutic agents such as moisturizers and Vitamin C. Vibradermabrasion improves a dull complexion which provides you with a smoother and more youthful skin appearance.
Vibradermabrasion is similar to microdermabrasion but, unlike microdermabrasion, Vibraderm does not use messy crystals expelled from a tiny tip. Instead, with Vibraderm, we use various sized stainless steel paddles which are embedded with very fine abrasive particles. When applied to your skin, the paddles vibrate at very high speeds thereby providing exfoliation. The mechanical vibration action also works to push anti-aging serums deep into the skin and to trigger new collagen production. The paddles make it much easier to treat large areas of the body such as the chest, arms, and back—or anywhere on your body that you would like smoother skin.
Like microdermabrasion, Vibradermabrasion has been shown in a number of studies to improve the appearance of skin damaged by the sun and other environmental factors, reduce the appearance of large pores, smooth the skin, and stimulate the production of new collagen.
