Lip Gloss with an Appetite Suppressant!
You've heard about it and now it's at Phases. THINgloss™, is the first lip gloss that contains extracts from the hoodia plant and the kola nut tree. A Treatment for Acne Scarring

Mark Your Calendar for Girls' Night Out Indy™ 2008
Mark your calendar for the 6th annual Girls' Night Out Indy™! This year's event will be held on Thursday, September 11th, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a new location: the Ritz Charles at 12156 North Meridian Street. Because of the wonderful response to Girls' Night Out, it was necessary to move the event to have more parking available for you. We have lots of pampering, shopping and learning opportunities planned for you. We will update you throughout the spring and summer about our plans for another fantastic event. Tell your friends, your coworkers, and your family to plan to join you at Girls' Night Out this year.
BOTOX® Beauty Parties Scheduled for April and May
If you are a BOTOX® Cosmetic user, or if you have wanted to try BOTOX but just have not gotten around to beginning treatment, we have two more parties scheduled for this spring, April 17th and May 15th. Here is your personal invitation. Meet Our 2008 Breast Cancer Survivors
Y-Me and The Pink Ribbon Connection nominated several breast cancer survivors for our 2008 makeovers. Four lucky women were chosen to receive these non-surgical makeovers. We thought you'd like to meet them. Throughout the coming months we will update you on their progress at Phases and Turkle & Associates as well as let you know what our various sponsors are doing for them. Our four women are Linda Cardé, Phyllis Garrison, Teri Sinise and Siter Trudgen.
Linda Cardé had no family history of breast cancer when she was diagnosed right before Christmas 2006. The news struck a major blow, since her husband had been diagnosed with prostate cancer six weeks earlier. Linda had a lumpectomy and three days later, her husband began his treatment. Linda wore a pink boa to her last chemo - on her birthday! The Phases staff is working with Linda to tighten lax facial skin, repair sun damage on her face, and encourage the regrowth of hair on her head, brows and lashes.
Phyllis Garrison's breast cancer was detected during a routine mammogram in 2005 that she scheduled two months later than usual. Phyllis' s doctor told her that her tardiness may have saved her life because the tumor might not have been visible two months earlier! She had a double mastectomy and was relieved to learn that the cancer had not escaped into her lymph nodes. Phyllis shared her story on husband Greg Garrison's radio show and was overwhelmed by the response from listeners. Phyllis is getting treatment for her skin laxity and sun damage. She will also have some facial veins treated and other aesthetic treatments.
Teri Sinise had a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and reconstruction in 2004. As a health educator and personal health coach, Teri seeks to find the best way to use her talents and experience to help others in the fight against breast cancer. She found great pleasure in working with The Wellness Community’s Breast Friends, Y-Me Indiana and The Pink Ribbon Connection. Teri will have treatment of acne scars, facial vein treatment, skin tightening of her full face and eye area, and more.
Thelma "Siter" Trudgen did not find her breast cancer by mammogram, but she still believes they are crucial in the early detection and prevention of breast cancer. Her diagnosis came from consulting an OB/GYN - her husband Dr. Spencer Trudgen. When her mammogram detected no cancer, her husband encouraged her to see a specialist. She eventually learned she had breast cancer. Siter chose to have a bilateral mastectomy in 2006 instead of a lumpectomy and believes she made the right choice for her body. She enjoys meeting other survivors at various community breast cancer events. Siter will have LimeLight for sun damage on her hands and chest plus Vibradermabrasion and Laser Genesis to improve her skin tone and texture.
Each of the women will have their teeth whitened by cosmetic dentist Dr. George Kirtley. Beads for Needs will provide pink dazzle bracelets, necklaces and earrings for them.
